The Tote Buddy
April 18, 2011
As some of you may already know, I just returned home from NAPO’s (National Association of Professional Organizers) annual conference. Besides it being a great week with the gals and enough organizing tips to last a lifetime, I came home with some great products to share with my clients.
Today, I am highlighting the Tote Buddy. As most of us have experience the desire to go green with our shopping bags, how many of us have left them at home or in our car because we continue to forget to grab them? I know that I do it on a regular basis. Do your shopping bags look like the bag highlighted on the left? They are hanging by the back door ready to go…and we walk right out and forget to grab them EVERY TIME?
The Tote Buddy was a great solution that I stumbled across at the vendor fair in San Diego. Besides the owners being great, this is an up and coming company business that has a great solution for those bags.
Besides it being cute and fun, I can tuck it under my front seat and remember to grab it when I head into the grocery store. You can order it with or without the additional orange bags (but I recommend them because they are a great quality and are a perfect match to the design) and can hold up to 10 recyclable bags. The trick is that one of the handles from the grocery bag is the handle for the entire tote! The rest of the bags are folded into the tote buddy and velcro shut into the buddy.
I love this tote buddy so much that I am carrying inventory so that I can sell them on the spot to my clients. If you must have one, please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to “hook you up” with one for $25! And then you can love it as much as I do!

Have you been looking for a location near you to recycle or donate just about anything that you have to get rid of? Try http://www.arizona.earth911.org and just type in your zip code and you will find locations near you to donate you items! Since I do a lot of consigning for my clients, this is always my first choice. Sometimes if you just don’t have the time, this is a great option.
For those of you that do not know, I don’t only consign for my clients. If you have a project and just need help to figure out where those items should go, I can help you with that project. I just charge a flat fee to handle the work for you. Think about it!
